Who is responsible
Scandipuzzletrelum Ltd is responsible for personal information it receives through the operation of this website and its contact email. Our registered office is 42 King Street, Manchester M2 6AW, United Kingdom. Company registration number: 15390428. For privacy requests, email [email protected].
Information used to deliver the website
When your browser requests a page or image, the hosting infrastructure receives technical information such as your IP address, requested resource, request time and browser headers. Operational or security logs may record this information. It is used to deliver the site, investigate faults and protect the service, based on legitimate interests in operating a secure, functioning website.
The page code does not include advertising trackers, third-party analytics, external fonts or embedded social-media widgets. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
The local enquiry worksheet
Names, email addresses and questions entered into the worksheet are used in your browser to construct a plain-text review. The worksheet has no message-sending endpoint and does not store those field values in localStorage. Copying writes the review to your device’s clipboard after your request; downloading creates a local text file. Your browser, operating system or clipboard synchronisation settings may manage those copies independently.
We do not receive the worksheet text unless you separately send it to us. Avoid entering sensitive personal data. Closing or refreshing the page may clear the review, although browser autofill or session restoration can behave differently.
If you send an email
We receive your email address, message, attachments and ordinary email metadata. We use this information to consider and respond to your enquiry, assess corrections and keep appropriate correspondence records. The usual lawful basis is our legitimate interest in managing relevant correspondence; legal obligations may require some records to be retained.
Access is limited to people and service providers who need it for these purposes. Hosting and email providers may process technical or correspondence data on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information or use enquiry details for unsolicited marketing. Information may be disclosed where necessary to comply with law, defend legal rights or address a security incident.
Retention and international processing
We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain necessary records and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the subject and any ongoing dispute or statutory requirement. Technical logs should be limited to their operational and security purpose. Ask us if you need information about a particular record.
Where a service provider processes personal data outside the United Kingdom, applicable transfer requirements must be met, such as an adequacy arrangement or appropriate contractual safeguards. Contact us for information relevant to your correspondence.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have legal limits, and we may need proportionate information to verify your identity.
You can raise a concern with us or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. You do not need to contact us before exercising your right to complain.
