Scandipuzzletrelum is an independent information website about industrial textile recycling. We write for plant planners, textile buyers and sustainability teams who need to distinguish promising ideas from defined recovery routes. We do not operate a recycling plant, broker waste shipments or certify recycled products.
Our starting point is feedstock variability. The same machine can perform differently on clean production scrap and mixed post-consumer garments. An explanation that ignores that difference is unlikely to help a procurement decision.
How we organise a process explanation
Each topic identifies its input, principal transformation, useful output and potential losses. We distinguish collection from recycling, installed capacity from achieved output, and an intermediate material from a finished textile product. We avoid universal yield, cost and environmental-benefit figures where the conditions needed to support them are absent.
Reference links point to relevant regulators, standards organisations, research bodies and technology organisations. Naming a company illustrates a subject for further investigation; it is not an endorsement, affiliation or assurance of present commercial availability.
How to read the sources
Regulatory sources establish legal context, not a complete plant-specific compliance opinion. Standards establish defined requirements or methods, not every property of a product. Equipment suppliers and technology developers explain their own systems, but their material should be read alongside independent evidence and actual operating data.
Standards, regulations and project status can change. Check the applicable edition, jurisdiction and current facility status before relying on a reference in a technical or commercial decision. We link to source organisations so readers can pursue those checks.
