Cookie choices and local storage

Browser storage should have a defined purpose. The reading pages and enquiry worksheet do not need advertising or analytics cookies.

What these technologies do

Cookies are small values stored by your browser and commonly sent with later requests to the same website. LocalStorage keeps values in your browser for a website origin without automatically attaching them to each request. Both can support preferences, but their purposes and contents matter more than their names.

What the page code uses

The editorial pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Navigation and scroll reveals work without persistent storage. The enquiry worksheet keeps its working text in the current page and does not save name, email or question fields in localStorage. Copy and download actions occur only when requested.

A separately provided consent interface may save your choice in browser storage. Such a preference records a consent decision; it is not a requirement to accept optional tracking in order to read the site. The delivered page code contains no optional analytics or advertising integration to activate.

Your storage settings

You can remove the site’s preference key below. This control clears scandipuzzletrelum-cookie-preference from localStorage; it does not erase browser history, downloaded files or unrelated cookies. A separately provided consent interface may manage additional preference records.

Browser controls

Your browser can show, block and delete cookies and site storage. Look for privacy, security or site-data settings and select scandipuzzletrelum.buzz. Blocking all local storage may prevent a consent interface from remembering a choice, but the editorial text remains readable.

Private browsing, browser extensions and automatic clearing settings may cause preferences to disappear. Clearing a preference is not the same as deleting information you previously emailed to us. See the privacy notice for correspondence and data-rights information.
